2007-08 Theme: Playing for Keeps

Like a polluted spring of water, from a contaminated heart flows a life that is foul and corrupt. Every thought, decision, word, and action streams from the heart and the consequences are often immediate and always eternal. Therefore the need to protect and guard our hearts is serious and urgent.
King Solomon urged his own son to learn this valuable lesson:
Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.
Proverbs 4:23
This year’s Snow Retreat will also be aimed right at the heart, as Phil Johnson will remind us from key Scripture passages why guarding the heart is so crucial and provide practical instruction on how to guard one’s heart.
