I would have to say that I have heard these excuses for teenage behavior even in a “Chrisian” school. The truth is that I am not incompetent but sinful. I blame others for my own sin, I will acknowlege that. I sometimes lie and blame others for my own actions and I need God’s help to not blame others. This is not a teenage problem like you said but is sin.
